Nice list - I had thought of the following:

Sweet shop (old fashioned sweet shop with everything in jars) - do you call them candy stores? We had this type of shop in the village where I grew up called The Don (I think the original owner was Spanish or Italian) but they were also a tobacconist - sweets crammed beside the boxes of cigars and cigarettes. These days it would be a newsagents with cigarettes plus some sweets. Nothing like the rows and rows of toffees and boiled sweets and the little bags you could buy for sixpence or so with a variety of sweets. Of course, instead of a tobacconist these days you might have a vape shop.

I'd thought of an antiques shop - that's always pretty easy to do but can look really nice.

That list seems to be missing a jewellers shop which here would also probably sell clocks (and watches which are between the two).

It's also missing a sewage plant - don't laugh, I know someone who built a very convincing (residential) sewage plant. I think it was for Vidcund Curious to escape to.

I see that list mentions airport. I like building travel stuff* and have built several garages (petrol stations), train stations and bus stations but not an airport. One of my favourite hacks for TS1 was an object hack that allowed you to place a travel desk on a community lot which you could click on with a visiting sim and it would allow you to send them off on holiday (vacation). I made a very fancy airport lot with lots of little shops in it (a bikini lot from ATS I seem to remember and a duty free), a big balcony section and several of these travel desk hacks plus, a really nice touch I thought, a small sound hack that played an aircraft taking off noise every so often by the departure doors at the back of the lot.

*I think if I were a man, I'd probably be into train sets or something.

I have built an airport previously for the vacation challenge that I started but failed to complete. I thought it was pretty cool, but I tried to do it without CC, and that made it difficult.
It would be so cool to do that again, but properly! I wonder if we could make some sort of hack to simulate going on vacation?

I'm in Australia, and we don't do candy - we do sweet shops - primarily chocolatiers that are independent, and Darrell Lea's who do the whole rigmarole. I'd love to make a Darrell Lea's!

I've got a deco Sewage plant in DG, and a warehouse/wharf - but I haven't made it functional yet. At the moment it's just for looks.

To be honest, one of the things that I like about Sims, is that it doesn't have cigarettes, or assorted stuff. I'm a bit averse to that.
